*The Chi Omega Fraternity has been in alliance with the Make-A-Wish Foundation since 2002. Since teaming up with this incredible foundation, Chi Omega has raised more than 12.9 million dollars, as well as dedicating over half a million service hours to the philanthropy. Make-A-Wish grants wishes to patients who are battling life-threatening illnesses and, on average, grants a wish every 38 minutes. According to Wish.org, doctors, nurses and other health professionals say, the wish experience works in concert with medicine to make their patients feel better emotionally and even physically. 

 

*Since partnering with Make-A-Wish, Nu Lambda has donated $68,668 to the foundation and in 2015, our chapter donated $10,014 through Nu Lambda's annual golf tournament, Wish Upon A Par.
